For 73 years, the women of the Greenfield Hill Congregational Church have celebrated the beauty of spring time in Fairfield with their Dogwood Festival. From a card table on the church lawn which displayed handmade aprons and similar items, the Festival has grown into an event which attracts thousands each year.
Every year, the Festival is an opportunity for church members to share the beauty of our historic hill by welcoming visitors to enjoy the hospitality and fellowship of its festivities. The Dogwood Festival is always held in May, beginning each year on the Friday of Mother's Day weekend.

Our thanks to Elizabeth Gentile of Evergreen Studios in Fairfield for providing the view of the green.
